PARENT/FAMILY NEWSLETTER
JUNE 9, 2024 - ISSUE # 38
Hello Cub Families!
Here we are, we have reached the last week of school! These next two days are very busy at Clear View Elementary School and we ask for your patience when checking students in or out or when you call.
- Monday will be the two Kindergarten Completion Ceremonies - 9:30 and 10:30 am. Guidelines for attendees are posted below.
- Tuesday will be the Fifth Grade Completion Ceremony at 11:00 am, with the Fifth Grade cookout following immediately after. Guidelines for attendees are posted below.
- Due to the tremendous amount of activity on campus on Monday and Tuesday, the school will not be hosting parents/guests for lunch with students this week.
- Early check-outs will stop at 2:45 on Tuesday to allow for safe transition to dismissal for those students who remain on campus. We thank you in advance for your assistance in this area.
Other important items:
- For parents of students in grades 3,4 and 5 - If you received a message about Summer School for your student, please call the school on Monday and ask to speak to Mrs. Esemann. If you spoke to someone already, you do not need to call. If you did not receive a call, your child is not being invited to Summer School at this time.
- For parents of students in grades 1,2 and 3 that received invitations to summer Read to Achieve Camp, please make sure you follow the directions to register your child online.
- If your child still has a negative lunch balance, please go online to settle that balance.
- If your child has laptop or library fees, please note that those fees accumulate and will follow your child through their school career in Onslow County Schools.
We are looking forward to a fun-filled couple of days as we wind up the 2023-2024 school year. On behalf of the staff of Clear View Elementary, I would like to thank all of our families for allowing us the opportunity to spend each day with your children! We have the greatest students there are and each day is a joy, even the challenging ones. :) We appreciate your support tremendously!
Wishing you all a safe and happy summer, and if this is Goodbye, rather than just See You Later, we wish you success and happiness in all that you do in the future.
