OPTION TO SWITCH BETWEEN DISTANCE AND IN-PERSON LEARNING OPEN ENROLLMENT
If any elementary (Pre-K to 5th grade) school student would like to switch from In-Person to Distance Learning or from Distance Learning to In-Person, an enrollment change request must be submitted between September 14- September 25, 2020. Please note that enrollment change requests must be completed by September 25, 2020 and enrollment changes will not be honored after this deadline. The end of the first grading period is October 9, 2020. All enrollment changes will go into effect Tuesday, October 13, 2020. When making this decision, please know that BCSS fully anticipates that In-Person learning will be five days per week.
Per BCSS, as before, students must commit to their learning choice for 9-weeks at a time. The next opportunity to switch will be November 9-20, 2020.
If you are considering a change, please be sure to visit the BCSS website and read the expectations for distance learning and precautions that are in place for in‐person learning.
