New Information

Welcome back! We are excited to start the 2nd semester of the 2024-2025 school year.

The time will move fast. Together we will conquer every goal we have set for Roy Johnson STEM Academy, Everman ISD. Let's make this a semester to remember.

As our scholars return, please help the scholars remember:

ID Badges are worn daily. Badges are important for Safety and Security.
EISD Dress Code Policy. Students should be wearing items approved by our district.

Cold Weather

Temps could end up in the low teens a day or two with some areas seeing colder temps. Wind chills will likely be in the low 20s and teens. School doors open at 7:45am.

Cold weather dress recommendations:

Below 60 F- Jackets or Long Sleeves

Below 50 F- Coats and Long Pants

EISD will closely monitor the weather conditions and be in contact with the National Weather Service for continuous updates. Please continue to check www.eisd.org, your email, EISD social media accounts, and the EISD call-out system for updated information.

Morning Reminders

The building will open at 7:45 am.

Students should not be left outside the school building prior to 7:45 am. There is no adult supervision prior to 7:45 a.m. Please do not allow students to bring balls, toys, or other objects to play out front of the school.

Keeping students safe is a priority.

Chromebooks

Student Reminders

Students, please bring your assigned Chromebook to school every day. Ensure your Chromebook is charged each night so it’s ready for class. Students are not permitted to use, lend, or borrow each other’s devices.

Damages to Technology

If your chromebook or accessories checked out to the student is damaged report issues to our school librarian, Mrs. Marshall as soon as damages are found. Do not wait to report damages to librarian.

January Reading Challenge!

Every Roy Johnson STEM Academy student should be logging his/her reading minutes.

Please make sure your scholar has logged into Beanstack each day to log his/her reading minutes.

Students should log at least 30 minutes of reading a day! Reading can be done on weekends and breaks too!

Gym Sporting Event Expectations

Junior High Students

No Loitering; Must sit upstairs.
8th Grade and Below
All students below the 8th grade and below are required to be accompanied by a paying adult in order to attend home games. Parents are responsible for their own children. Students 8th grade and below not accompanied by a paying adult will not be allowed into home contests. No Exception!

All parents and visitors must sit on the appropriate side.
