September 6th 2024 Principal's Message
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first annual Bruin Bash on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm in our front parking lot. This free-entry event will be a celebration of our Blevins community where all past, present, and future Bruins and their families are invited and welcome to join us. As a way to earn money for our school through this PTO fundraiser event, there will be ways to donate money via check or cash, purchase items, and participate in fun games and activities by buying tickets. PTO funds are used to purchase materials for classes, fun experiences, and necessary resources that impact students directly. We hope to see you all there!
Please contact Dusti Sanger at dsanger@psdschools.org if you have any questions or if you would like to get involved with the event.

Please note that clubs with an asterisk* require a separate field trip form signed by a parent/guardian before students can participate as they will be off campus. Students will receive these field trip forms on the first day of programs. This after-school program, which is funded through the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, Cohort X, offers students homework help, enrichment clubs, and community connection opportunities, while giving them a safe place to build relationships with other students. October Count is coming on OCTOBER 1st!
(PSD's count window is Sept. 24- Oct 8.)
What is October Count? It is simply making your student count in our education system. Per the Colorado Department of Education:
“The Student October Pupil Enrollment collection contains student enrollment information as of the pupil enrollment count date. This information is used to determine the school demographics, number of students in instructional programs, free and reduced lunch counts, and distribution of school finances across the state.”
Its very important to have your student in school during this time so your student and Blevins are accurately represented. If you have any questions or concerns, please call Melisa Zaug in the front office at 970-488-4044.
