WES UPDATE

School Picture Day will be on Tuesday, October 8. You should have received an email from Lifetouch for ordering information. Flyers and an order form were also sent home with students. Picture retake day is scheduled for Friday, November 15.

Please be aware that ALL celebrations must be "food free" throughout the district.

Our goal at the WES is to ensure that every student attends school regularly and is actively engaged in their learning. Attending school regularly has a huge impact on a student’s academic success and helps them feel better about school—and themselves. Families play a key role in building this habit, so that students learn that going to school on time, everyday is important. Developing the skill of consistent attendance will help students succeed in their academic career as a student and through college and in the workplace.

While some absences are unavoidable due to health problems or other circumstances, when students miss too much school— regardless of the reason – it often causes them to fall behind academically. Please assist us with ensuring that your student is in school and on time daily.

Students arriving at school after 8:40 are considered tardy and must report to the office before proceeding to class.

Please be reminded that there are NO EARLY DISMISSALS IN THE BUILDING AFTER 2:15 PM. Any dismissal after 2:15 PM must get in the parent pick up line and pick up during regular dismissal.

This year the Fall program will run from October 14 - November 22 from 3:15 - 4:15 PM. A yellow paper was sent home with your child on Monday, September 30. The cost is $55 per activity. Space is limited, Forms and payment are due by Thursday October 3.
