Lancer Corner
Hey, future Knights and Lancers!
Westwood View students will continue on to Indian Hills Middle School (the ‘Knights’) and Shawnee Mission East High School (the ‘Lancers’).
Did you know? WV’s PE teacher, Corey Roscetti, is also the middle school girls soccer coach! Their spring season is starting up if you want to catch a match!
Summer will be here before we know it and there are plenty of summer camps offered by coaches from SME. Gymnastics, soccer, basketball, band and more!…find info here: https://smelancers.com/camps/
First Girls Wrestling “State Placer” for SME!
Congratulations to Senior, Sylvia Mohrsting on being the first girls Wrestling State placer in SCHOOL HISTORY (5th place). Sylvia started wrestling as a freshman. Her courage to step into a room full of boys and commit to the process is unprecedented and has paved the way for others to follow. In her words, no sport has given me the confidence like the sport of wrestling.
Congrats to Sylvia on a great wrestling career.
