A Message From Nurse Jenna

Good Afternoon,


Earlier this week vaccination notices went home in folders of students who DO NOT have updated vaccinations on file at school. PER INDIANA LAW "no student shall be permitted to attend school for more than 20 days beyond the date of his/her enrollment without presenting documentation of immunizations.” The 20 day vaccination exclusion date is Wednesday, September 11th. If parents have questions or concerns, please contact me at 219-983-3660 or japplegate@duneland.k12.in.us

From the Library

The Brummitt Library is hosting a Mabel's Labels Fundraiser. Mabel's Labels is the original waterproof name label for kids. They are dishwasher safe and laundry safe. These labels will help keep your Brummitt student's belongings out of our Lost & Found! Help our library raise funds for new books, makerspace supplies, and more! Visit campaigns.mabelslabels.com and search "Brummitt Elementary School Library."

Attendance

A+ Attendance Award

Next week Brummitt will be kicking off the start of our A+ Attendance Award. Starting Monday, we will randomly draw five students who have been present every day during the prior week to receive this special recognition. Winners will receive:



  • A locker/fridge magnet
  • A picture in the Brummitt Weekly
  • A picture on the Brummitt Attendance bulletin board


We look forward to stellar attendance and to seeing our students in school!

A Message From The Brummitt PTO

The PTO is putting together the Brummitt School Directory. Per the Brummitt Elementary Handbook, PTO does NOT receive contact information from the office. The only way we are able to include information in the directory is to receive it directly from the families. The directory will be emailed once it is complete.


If you would like your family included in the PTO directory, please fill out the 2024-2025 Brummitt PTO Student Directory Form by Friday, September 6th.
