I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Highland Park is on the proposed list for closure. Please plan to attend the Principal’s Coffee on October 5th at 8:15 am if you have any questions. Also, please be sure to attend the October 12th Neighborhood Meeting at 6:00 pm where Superintendent Dr. Aquino and our SAISD School Board Representative, Ms. Ozuna, will be present to hear from you and the staff. I ask you to invite your neighbors, even if they don’t have students attending Highland Park, as this closure will affect them as well.
I am filled with pride when I walk through the hallways and classrooms at Highland Park. I’ve said it before, the level of dedication of the entire staff to ensure that your children receive the best education is amazing. All of us working together is why Highland Park is an A rated school and I am blessed to serve as your principal.
Warmest regards,
Virginia Parker
Principal

Virginia Parker
Directora
