New A-G Graduation Requirements, begins with the Class of 2029
What is A-G?
A-G is a set of specific high school courses that students must complete to be eligible for admission to California public universities, such as the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU).
These tools help students:
Stay on track for high school graduation
Explore college and career pathways
Keep their options open for a variety of opportunities after high school
By thinking about the big picture, students can set goals and make informed choices throughout their high school journey.

YEARBOOK Updates
YEARBOOK: The 2025 yearbook will be here before you know it, and sales are picking up. Make sure to order yours before they sell out. Books are $100, payable in the finance office or at yearbookforever.com. Please make sure you have not already purchased a yearbook for your student; refunds will not be given for duplicate orders.
- ANGEL BOOKS: Each year we request help from our school community to get yearbooks into the hands of deserving seniors for whom the book is cost prohibitive. Our publisher calls these "Angel Books." There are several ways to contribute to this program:
- Visit the finance office and make a donation to the yearbook account. Make sure you tell them the donation should go toward an Angel Book.
- Visit yearbookforever.com and scroll down to "Donate a Yearbook." You have the option of donating a full book or making a custom donation. Any amount helps!
"See Something, Hear Something, Say Something"
A key resource in fostering a safe and supportive school climate at RBV is PSST World, an anonymous reporting tool that empowers students to report safety concerns confidentially. Fear of retaliation often prevents students from speaking up, but PSST World provides a secure way to report bullying, cyberbullying, abuse, threats, self-harm, weapons, or other issues affecting school safety—without revealing their identity.
Students only need to provide their name if they wish to be contacted. To submit a report, click here or on the PSST World icon above. Explore the videos and resources on this page to learn more. Thank you for helping keep RBV and VUSD a safe place to learn and grow!
Please feel free to browse through the videos shown to the right of this page for more information. Also, additional resources are also linked below that will help you create a PSST shortcut on your device.

Sport Request Form
Are you looking for a sport but do not see it on our website? The form below is to request the school to look into offering new CIF sports on campus.
Dear RBV Families and Community,
We’re excited to announce a new initiative to strengthen collaboration and dialogue between our students, families, and athletic program. Beginning this school year, we’re introducing a Sport Request Form designed to give students and community members the opportunity to express interest in adding new sports to our school’s athletic offerings. This form allows us to gather valuable insights, gauge interest, and better understand the needs and wishes of our community when it comes to expanding athletic opportunities.
While we are committed to exploring each request thoughtfully, please know that there are various factors that affect our ability to implement new sports, including resources, staffing, and facility availability. Even so, your input is essential as it helps us make informed decisions and better align our programs with the interests and passions of our students.
The Sport Request Form is available on our website at www.rbvathletics.com, and we welcome submissions throughout the year.
Thank you for being an essential part of our school community and for helping us continue to foster a dynamic and inclusive athletic environment for our students.
We are seeing an increase in students riding electric bikes to school. We have a new parking area for the bikes and students have been doing great with using our new procedures. We have a few resources to share regarding bike safety as well as a link to the required bike safety course students must attend to obtain a parking permit for their bikes.
Online safety course is being developed to support our students safety.
