We have had a beautiful busy week here at Central Catholic. Students and teachers are settling into routines and getting ready for Student Led conferences.

Thank you for all that have returned their conference sheets. I will be working the schedule early next week and hope to have your scheduled time sent home by Friday of next week.

Remember, Thursday October 5th, is an early release day - 1pm, with student led conferences starting at 1:30pm. There will be NO aftercare on Thursday October 5th.

Today our servers had an opportunity to do some training with Deacon Gary from Holy Name Catholic Church. It is sometimes hard for our servers when they come from different parishes to know how they should serve here at Good Shepherd Church. This was an opportunity for us to come together with a common understanding of what a server needs to do while serving at our school mass.

Parents if your student is considering attending Roncalli High School they will need to take the placement test. The information is below:

We are quickly approaching this year's High School Placement test on Saturday, November 4...details for the day are below!

• Pre-registration (https://permission.click/aLpa5/int/signee-info) Deadline is Wednesday, November 1...WALK-INS WELCOME!
• Contact Michelle Roberts at mroberts@roncalli.org by Tuesday, October 17 if your student needs accommodations.
• Drop off: Curbside dropoff at main entrance door 1. Doors open at 7:30 AM.
• Bring: 2 sharpened No. 2 pencils; calculators are not allowed.
• Contact Jane Dias with questions at jdias@roncalli.org.
• Parent information session from 10-11:15 AM--English in the auditorium, Spanish in room 119 and Burmese in room 132. All parents can enter through Door 5.

The Knights of Columbus will be holding a soccer challenge at Central Catholic School's football field on October 1st from 1-2:30pm.

Registration is required, the form is provided below and should be brought with on the day of the event.

Parents we are looking for some fall fun day donations this year. There are two games we play - Pumpkin Walk and Oreo Face off. For the Pumpkin Walk we need full size lollipops. For Oreo Face Off we will need Oreos - any flavor will do.

Monday: bean and cheese burrito with churro, PBJ or garden salad

Tuesday: Philly cheesesteak sandwich, pizza lunchable, or garden salad

Wednesday: potstickers with fried rice, PBJ, or garden salad

Thursday: biscuits and gravy, pizza lunchable, or garden salad

Friday: pepperoni pizza, PBJ, or lunchie munchie
