Notes from Dr. Irvin
Your WGHS Weekly eNews for September 26
Hello WGHS Families,
We are excited by the collaborative work from our staff on behalf of students that is materializing this fall. Much of the work is generated in our Late-Start mornings--thanks to all for accommodating that time for our staff to think deeply about the learning experiences and supports for classes.
I find the chance to see students working with our staff in conventional ways, but this week has seen staff engage in novel ways in support of students. I am even more grateful for their effort and care for our students. We appreciate the opportunity to serve our students and our community.
Best,
Matt Irvin

The WGHS Theater Department is proud to present HUNTING SEASON on Sept 26th, 27th and 28th at 7:00pm ($10.00 a ticket / available at the door). It is a one act play written and directed by Senior ('25) Parker Collier and starring Luca Thies, Carl Ellis, Mimi Mueller, and Robby Conroy. Join us on this funny and heartwarming journey with a guy named Donald who goes on an adventure from Arizona to Las Vegas, Utah to find out why his father left him a mounted deer head in his only inheritance in the will. It is a smartly written one act play (approx.1 hour run time). We present for three nights in the brand new Frick Theater on the south side of the WGHS campus. Don't miss this amazing event.

At the designated time, your student will receive a pass to check out if you called ahead. The student will check out in the Assistant Principal's office.
You will NOT enter the building if you have called the absence in and communicated a pick-up location with your child.
