Dear Montgomery Elementary Families,

Welcome back! I hope this letter finds you warm and well after an unexpected wintery week. I can hardly believe we experienced three snow days in such a short span! Thankfully, the forecast for the coming week looks clear, though it will remain quite cold. Please make sure your children are bundled up as they head to school.

A special shout-out and heartfelt thanks go to our incredible custodial team: Mr. Donny, Mr. Tony, Mr. Ed, and Mr. Brandon. They have been working tirelessly to ensure that Montgomery is safe and accessible for all of us. If you see them around, please take a moment to express your gratitude for their hard work and dedication.

As we settle back into our routines, I want to remind you that Acadience and MAP testing are currently in progress. Due to last week’s weather disruptions, some schedules have been adjusted. Please check your teacher’s email communications to confirm updated testing dates for your student.

Thank you for your continued support and flexibility. Let’s make it a great week ahead at Montgomery Elementary!

Happy New Year and I hope you all had a fun and relaxing Winter Break!

Help Montgomery Elementary win $2,500!!

Simply visit https://return-to-school-savings.webflow.io/, select Ohio and then enter “Montgomery Elementary” as your school of choice. You can vote once per day between now and January 18, so start voting and share on social media!

The PTO is now accepting special request submissions from members of the PTO, who include parents and teachers. The PTO will be meeting mid January to review and approve submissions. We are able to fulfill many of these requests because of the generosity of our families, friends and community during this year’s Aves Games fundraiser. Thank you again for your support.

Special Requests is the term the PTO uses for large-scale items the PTO gifts to the school. Parents, guardians, family members, students, and Montgomery Elementary staff can make a request for an item(s) that would benefit Montgomery Elementary and, if approved, the PTO will purchase the item for the school.

The Montgomery Elementary PTO will be accepting special requests via the Special Requests Google Form until Sunday, January 12th at 9pm.
