Dear War Eagle Families,
As we move through this fall semester, we are excited to share some incredible accomplishments and highlights from our Oak Ridge family. Our students and staff continue to demonstrate what it means to embody the spirit of excellence, hard work, and dedication.
We are incredibly proud to announce that 26 of our students have earned National Recognition from College Board based on their outstanding scores on College Board exams. Among these high-achievers, we have two National Merit Semifinalists and five Commended Scholars—an impressive testament to their academic excellence and commitment to success. In addition to academic achievements, our extracurricular programs are thriving. Our robotics team recently received a generous $500 donation from Dave Campbell's Texas Football and Aurora Tech in recognition of their exceptional accomplishments. We also celebrate the successes of several student organizations, including TAFE, JROTC, Robotics, and FFA, all of which have competed at area and district-wide events and are advancing to the state level. Their determination and teamwork continue to set the standard for excellence.
We also want to congratulate the Ridge Volleyball team on their incredible season, capped off by a well-deserved Bi-District Championship. Their hard work, sportsmanship, and team spirit were on full display throughout the season, and we couldn’t be prouder.
As we move into the next phase of competition season, we are filled with excitement for all the opportunities ahead. The War Eagle spirit is alive and well, and we know there are even more successes to come. Thank you for your continued support of our students and our school.
