Boosterthon!
The Boosterthon Fun Run was a huge success today!! Thank you to everyone who came out to support the students today! The program was incredible and everyone had fun. We raised over $68,800 towards updating books & resources in the Media Center, providing school wide on-site Field Trips, and enhancing communication by adding technology in shared areas! We could not have done it without your support! The Bridgewater Community has been incredibly supportive, and we are very appreciative!!
Reminders
Community School Ended!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Community School programming this year! Our final day was yesterday. Please remind students of their new pick up plans for this upcoming week!
Bussing Registration
Benjamin Bus will be delivering pre-filled bus forms again this year for all the elementary/middle school students. Deadline for return is NEXT Friday, May 24th. Also, the 2024-2025 school year bus form will NOT be available online until after September 6th.
If your student does not receive a pre-filled bus form for some reason, blank forms will be available in the school office or you can always call Benjamin Bus @ 507-645-5720, to request transportation for the 2024-2025 school year.
Ag Day Allergies?
This year, Bridgewater is hosting an agriculture day (next Thursday!) featuring several animals. Students will be outside for much of the day. If your children have any animal or other relevant outdoor allergies, please send Nurse Lucy an email larchibald@northfieldschools.org
Final Week of Library Book Checkout
This week was our last week of book checkout. All books are due May 23. The following week we will have daily prize drawings for those students who have all their books returned and/or fines paid. Please help your student look at home for any Bridgewater library books. Thank you!!
Outside Beverages
It has always been our practice to allow water bottles with screw tops as a beverage in school. However, we have seen an increase particularly in coffee beverages coming in to school with students. Please have your children finish other drinks before entering the building. Many of these drinks violate our school's wellness policy, and spilled drinks that contain sugar create quite the mess for our custodians to clean up! Also, students may not bring these beverages to their friends as parents are not on the grounds to give permission for the consumption of outside food/drink. Thank you in advance for helping us in this matter!
NO SCHOOL for Students - MAY 24 or MAY 27
Friday, May 24 is a teacher work day, and Monday, May 27 is Memorial Day, so there will be no school for students. Students will return to school on Tuesday, May 28.
