September 18, 2024 - NEWSLETTER
Greetings Park Terrace Families,
As we wrap up the first three weeks of the school year, I just want to share how excited I am about the start of this academic year. Our students have settled in wonderfully, and it has been a joy to see their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. The classrooms are buzzing with energy, and we’re already witnessing great strides in both academic and personal growth.
We are grateful for the support and involvement from our school community. Our community plays a crucial role in creating a positive and productive learning environment. If you’d like to be involved in the school, consider joining us at our first PTA meeting of the year on September 25 at 5 p.m. We’d love to have you join!
Again this year, we’ll be reaching out to take an occasional pulse check on your current experience with our school. You can expect occasional texts/emails from Possip – the organization we’re partnering with to conduct our pulse checks. Each round, there will be a couple of quick questions. You can choose to share your name or remain anonymous. Sharing your name does help us follow up if needed. We’ll be kicking off pulse checks next week – on Thursday, September 26.
Our Passport to Learning event is coming up on October 2, 5:30-7 p.m. At this event, families will get to tour the building, led by your child, and learn about our curriculum and the daily school experience. You’ll see student work, pictures, and videos. We look forward to seeing you then!
We have already scheduled a few other family events – please mark your calendar and watch for more information as each opportunity gets closer!
- STEM Night: November 21, 5:30-7 p.m.
- Literacy Night: January 16, 5:30-7 p.m.
Thanks for your partnership in these first weeks of the school year!
