Rose Larsen, an 8th grader at EJSHS, placed second in our District Spelling Bee and and Casen Wamsher, a 7th grader, placed 8th. Both students will advance to the County Spelling Bee to be held on February 6 in Hamilton! Congratulations, to all of the qualifiers!

The Eureka High School welding students competed in the SED Welding CDE at Labette County HS Wednesday of this week. Dylan Hamilton placed 5th in the A-Team division and Eureka placed 5th overall. In the B-Team division, Camden Wunderlich placed 7th and Tristan Milner placed 8th. The B-Team placed 3rd overall!

JV finished with a 3-4 record in El Dorado

Junior Harlie Owings placed 6th at the Newton Tournament of Champions! The two-day tournament was held Wednesday and Thursday this week.
