Families gathered together at E. A. Gibson to participate in a variety of activities that celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month!

Families were ready to engage and learn during Park Avenue Elementary Hispanic Heritage Night!

Students at Activ8 STEM Academy showed off their hard work at their Quarter 1 Awards and Hispanic Heritage Month Concert.

October 11 - GW homecoming game vs. Martinsville at 7 p.m.

October 14 - Makeup Day - School in Session

October 16 - Report Cards go home

October 17 - GW Volleyball home games vs. Magna Vista at O.T. Bonner Middle starting at 5:30 p.m.; GW JV Football home game vs. Bassett at 6 p.m.; Galileo Scholastic Bowl home match vs. Chatham at 5:30 p.m.; School Board Meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Families enjoyed the festivities at the Annual National Night Out event hosted by Danville Police Department! Danville Public Schools F.A.C.E Team as well as other community organizations and businesses were eager to lend their support in a effort to build strong communities!
