The Church is in need of (5) junior high students to help us set up the games from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and an additional (14) junior high students to run the games and help pick them up from 11:00 to 1:30 p.m.

Important Information:
- Please be sure confirm portion sizes for your students weekly.
- The cutoff for weekly orders is every Wednesday at midnight for the following week.
- Forgotten lunches will be accepted until 9:00am in the school office, NO food deliveries from Door Dash/Uber Eats are allowed.

We still have open slots! Please consider signing up to serve as a homeroom parent (or back-up) for the 24-25 school year. Duties include coordination and communication for class parties
Homeroom Parents that are signed up should have already received an email for the virtual information sessions to cover important information for the year. There are two time options to choose from; you only need to attend one. Please save the date!

Halloween Costume Contest - Volunteers Needed!
The Halloween Costume Contest Committee is looking for Volunteers to help with the 2024 event and also recruiting for leadership for 2025+! Please reach out to Stephanie Rayos (shrayos@yahoo.com) if you are interested in joining an information session about one of our favorite St. Theresa traditions! There are opportunities this year to join the Planning Committee (~2 meetings) and the Day of Committee (set-up, hosting and clean up on Oct 31).

Boy Scouts Sign-Up Night and Registration
Please join the Boy Scouts of America - Sam Houston for the first Sign-Up Night for all St. Theresa Catholic School and Church Families. We are looking for Scouts and Adult Volunteers, please join us to ask questions about opportunities and register!
Adult volunteer opportunities include: Committee Chair (1) and Committee Members (+2), Cubmaster (1) and Den Leaders (Min. 1 per age group). Use the hyperlinks for each role to learn more about the opportunities and see the resources available from Boy Scouts of America.

Girl Scouts Girl Talk & Registration
Please join Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council for a Girl Talk and Registration Info Session on Friday, September 20th at 7:50AM at Morning Assembly! There will be a quick presentation for girls at the end of Morning Assembly before parents are invited to join in the Dining Hall for Q&A and Registration.

After School Activities Sign-Up: Register here for Ballet or Marial Arts After School
Kidventure is offering a special rate for those K-5th grade students who register for Ballet or Martial Arts through Enrichment Services to add on a KV Package for $150 to cover the time between 3:20pm dismissal and the 4:05pm start time for the second sessions Ballet/Martial Arts for Fall 2024 registrants. This offer is only for students registered for Ballet or Martial Arts and does not include return to KV coverage after the extracurricular activity. Only students who are registered with the Kidventure After-School Fall Semester program will be escorted back to KV after Ballet/Martial Arts.

Monday, Sep. 9th: Awareness Day - Childhood Cancer
Students may donate $1 to support A Shelter for Cancer Families' Hearts of Gold campaign and come to school dressed in a Gold or Yellow shirt or Viking Spirit wear shirt and blue or black jeans or uniform bottoms. ASCF provides stability, shelter and support for families seeking cancer care in the Texas Medical Center. Please have your child give their donation to their homeroom teacher.
Tuesday, Sep. 16th: Smart Families Presentation
Please join us on Monday, September 16th in the Fellowship Hall for light refreshments at 5:30pm followed by the Smart Families Presentation at 6pm.
We will learn about current brain research and the development of the adolescent brain. This is a presentation you won't want to miss! Please note that this a parent focused event.
Please RSVP HERE to ensure there is enough food and drinks for everyone.
All grandparents are invited to attend the Grandparents Day Mass at 8:15am on Friday, Sep., 20th!
We will have our bookfair in the library (gym 2nd floor), along with classroom visits and a small reception in the Gym!
