Taste & See the Goodness of the Lord
As we continue our journey of faith and reflection toward the end of this school year, I am drawn to the beautiful refrain of the hymn by Reverend James Moore, I Will Bless the Lord at All Times. Particularly the moving words within the refrain: "Taste and see the goodness of the Lord."
Embedded in these simple yet profound lyrics is a powerful invitation for each of us to encounter God's boundless love and grace in our daily lives. As members of our Catholic school community, let us heed this call to open our hearts and minds to the abundant blessings that surround us, to truly experience the goodness of the Lord in every moment. May this refrain serve as a guiding light for us all, reminding us of the richness of our faith and the infinite mercy of our loving Creator.
When together with your family, ask your child, "Where did you see God today?" or "How did you experience God's love or power this week?" Together, as families and as a whole school community, we can journey forward in gratitude and joy, ever mindful of the presence of God in our midst.
Let us focus on His goodness especially during this final month of school!

Opportunity Scholarships of Nebraska
Today, April 30, is the first OSN application deadline! Applications begun but not completed prior to April 30th will receive a 10-day grace period for completion (May 10th).
As a reminder, the OSN application can be found here.
Please note, this link is only for families of ELIGIBLE students. An eligible student is:
Entering Kindergarten; or
Entering 9th grade; or
Transferring from public school, entering any grade K-12.
What if families submit an application after April 30?
OSN will review all applications fully submitted on or before April 30, with hopes to award scholarships in June. A second batch will be considered after the first round of awarding is complete.
When will families know if their student qualifies for a scholarship?
OSN hopes to award scholarships by the end of June. Scholarship amounts will be determined by priority tiers and available tax credit contribution funding.
