Healthy Living: A Sweet Guide for Parents
- Sort through collected candy together. Remove any unwrapped items or questionable items.
- Encourage your child to brush their teeth and floss twice a day, especially after eating candy.
- Offer small portions of candy throughout the week over letting them indulge all at once.
- Balance sugary treats with healthier options, like nuts, fruits, vegetables or yogurts.
