School Hours:

School in-session: 8:00am - 3:00pm

AM Carpool: 7:30am - 8:00am

PM Carpool: 3:00pm - 3:30pm

Office Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

📢 No early check-out after 2:00pm 📢

ARRIVAL

Students arriving after 8:15 am will need to be checked-in at the school office. Please park your vehicle and escort your child into the school to complete this process.

DISMISSAL

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, there is a "no visitor entry" window during our afternoon carpool, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm.

Early Checkout ends at 2:00 pm.

Carpool ends promptly at 3:30pm. Please make sure your child is picked up on time.

ILLNESS

In the event that your child is sick, please do not send them to school. Your child must be free from fever for 24 hours before they may return.

Submit an absence excuse form online

If your student needs to take medication at school, the parent/guardian will need to transport the medication to the school office, along with a clinic form to be kept on file. This includes allergy medicine. NLAE does not keep allergy medication or eye drops in the office.

Parents/Guardians, please make sure your MyPaymentsPlus account is up to date!

❗ The last day to charge meals is May 15, 2024. ❗

Students without enough funds to cover meals will not be able to purchase a lunch, and will be given an alternate lunch.

Please check MyPaymentsPlus to confirm that your student's account has been replenished for the new school year to avoid any charges on your account.

Lunch Prices:

Full Pay: $3.50

Reduced: $0.40

Dietary Restrictions

Students with a dietary restriction will need a form on file with the School Nutrition Department. Vegetarian meals are available daily. However, a document must be filed in order to receive these meals.

Please make sure to check your MyPaymentsPlus account for fees and balances that need your attention! All library, field trip, and lunch balances can be viewed under your account.

A HUGE thank you goes out to the staff, students, and families who joined us at Culver's Share night on March 26th! We had a great turnout, leading to yet another great fundraiser for NLAE!

A special shoutout goes out to Ms. Tolbert's Fifth Grade class for having the highest participation!

April's PBIS focus will be on Test Preparation. We'll look at dealing with ways to prepare for the upcoming assessments, as well as ways to deal with test anxiety.
