A Note from Dr. Neubeck
Thank you Veterans
Our vision, “A community of learners committed to making the world a better place,” guides our efforts every day. This vision, along with the foundational 6Cs of our Graduate Profile, inspires our staff to help students understand the world around them and recognize the impact they can make in their communities and beyond.
This week, our elementary schools proudly celebrated Veterans Day, inviting veterans from our community to be recognized and honored. These veterans serve as powerful examples for our students of what it means to make a difference and contribute to "making the world a better place." The stories shared and the pride shown during these celebrations were meaningful experiences for both students and teachers.
On this Veterans Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the veterans among our staff, parents, and community members, as well as those currently serving. Your dedication and service to our country are deeply valued. Thank you for setting a strong example for us all and for helping us live as we do in our country. We are grateful.
Go Bears!

Operating Referendum Information
This past Tuesday, our referendum to secure support for an operating levy did not pass. We want to thank everyone who attended information meetings, reviewed literature, or visited our website to become informed voters. Your engagement and commitment to understanding this important issue are truly appreciated.
Our next steps will include using last year’s data to revise this year’s budget with updated figures, and to forecast a balanced budget for the upcoming school year. To create a sustainable budget and build our fund balance to meet the district’s policy of 8%, reductions will be necessary. We expect to have a clear picture of the required adjustments in the coming weeks. At that point, the leadership team, with input from both staff and the community, will begin developing a plan over the next few months to address our financial needs.
We will continue to keep staff and the community informed as we work through this process. It is essential that we work together as a community to achieve financial stability that can address future challenges and support our mission to provide a quality educational experience. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
