Kratt Bulldog Brief
September 16-20
Principal Update
Last week about 200 families were randomly selected to complete the Confidential Family Survey. Please take time if you received it to fill it out.
Our first Progress Report will go home on September 20th. I encourage you to look at that with your child and speak with the classroom teacher to discuss the academic progress your child is making. Our goal at Kratt is that we move each student one grade level. Last year we increased our ELA proficiency in SBAC ELA by over 11% and in SBAC Math by over 5%. These gains are happening due to the work going on at home and school.
Our PTA is hosting a Chipotle Night on Wednesday this week. Plan on stopping by the Fig Garden Chipotle for dinner between 4:00 and 8:00 and tell them you are with Kratt Elementary. These funds are put directly back into family events and classroom needs at our school.
This week is early release on Tuesday.
Have a great week.
Mr. Kaup
