Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am delighted to share with you the remarkable achievements and progress that our students have made over the past two weeks at Youngblood Intermediate School. As principal, I have witnessed a tremendous amount of dedication, enthusiasm, and growth from our amazing students.
Academically, our students have embraced new challenges and have shown exceptional engagement in their lessons. Their willingness to learn and explore new concepts has been truly inspiring. Our teachers have been impressed with the participation and effort demonstrated by your children in class.
Beyond academics, our students have also shown exemplary behavior, respect, and kindness towards one another. We are proud to witness their positive interactions as they uphold the values of our school community.
We have also successfully started elective classes aimed at promoting physical activity, creativity, and overall well-being. The response from both students and teachers has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited about the impact these opportunities will have on the holistic development of our students.
I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education. Your partnership with us is invaluable, and it plays a crucial role in the success of our students.
As we move forward, please be assured that we will continue to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our children to thrive. We eagerly anticipate what the rest of the school year holds and look forward to more achievements and wonderful experiences together.
Should you have any questions, concerns, or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you once again for entrusting us with the privilege of educating your children.

Important Safety Updates for Car Riders and Walkers to Ensure Safety
CAR RIDERS
To Parents/Guardians who are dropping off their child(ren) as a Car Rider, we ask that you remain in your cars and ride through the car ride line to ensure that your child safely enters and exits the building. This measure will help streamline the drop-off/pick up processes and ensure the safety of all students.
Additionally, we kindly request that parents/guardians refrain from parking on the street to walk their child(ren) to the building or let their child out on the street to walk onto the school grounds. Also, please adhere to the “No Parking” signs on the street. This will help maintain a smooth flow of traffic and further ensure the safety of all students.
WALKERS
We are requesting parents who are walking to the school with their child(ren) or waiting for their child(ren) who are walkers to wait at the school’s marquee (sign) at the entrance of the driveway. For safety reasons, it is important to have the area in front of the main doorway and sidewalk clear for students to have a clear passage on the sidewalk to get home safely. This also helps prevent crowding inside the building, which can contribute to dismissal delays.
These changes are designed to create a safer environment for all students commuting to and from our school. We kindly ask for your cooperation and support in adhering to these updated measures. Your attention and adherence to safety protocols will greatly contribute to the the safety of our students and the success of these initiatives.
Should you have any questions or require further information regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to reach out to our administrative team. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to a safe and successful school year ahead.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Change of Transportation
If you are changing your child’s or children’s way to get home, please send a note with him/her indicating the change. You may also call or visit the front office before 2:00 PM.
