A Note from Dr. Reynolds

We are excited for another great year at Liberty Creek Elementary. We will send a newsletter at the beginning of each month with important dates and reminders. Please be sure to check your email as all information will be sent from myself as well as your classroom teacher. We look forward to seeing everyone on August 29th for our Back to School Night! We will also be introducing our Pact Dozen soon and practicing these at school each day.

A Note from Nurse Melanie

Hello and welcome back Wolves! Just a few friendly reminders from Nurse Melanie:

*If you have not already done so, please log into Skyward and complete the non-emergent care consent. Due to a new state law, we need your consent for your child to receive any non-emergent care which includes receiving band-aids, ice packs, temperature checks and treating minor scrapes and injuries.

*Also, please do not send in any medication (prescription or non-prescription) with your child. A consent form must be signed, and the medication will also need to be signed in by an adult. Thank you for your help with this and feel free to contact me with any questions!

A Note From our Guidance Counselor

Wilson Bank and Trust

We will be participating in the bank program with Wilson Bank and Trust again this year. More information will come out soon about setting up your child's account.

Morning Arrival and Afternoon Dismissal

Arrival:

Please remember that all car riders are dropped off in the BACK of the building. Stay in one lane, and have students exit on right side of the car beside the sidewalk. Have students ready with their backpacks and lunch boxes.

If you arrive after 7:30 a.m., you will need to park in the front and bring your child in to the front office and sign them in.

Dismissal:

Please do not arrive on campus until 2:00 p.m. Parents may not park in the lot and wait. Remain in your car, we have staff to assist students. We encourage students to buckle independently. If they are not able yet, please pull in the parking lot to buckle them. All school zones are hands free per state law, meaning no cell phones for the safety of our students and staff.

Lunch Visitor Reminders

All lunch visitors must be in Skyward or on Emergency Card. Written note required from legal guardian if not listed.
All visitors must sign in at the front office
You must sit at a parent table, or outside at the picnic tables.
No outside food may be brought in (ex: fast food).
