Be Here. Be You. Belong!
Principal Message
Dear Meadow Point Families,
This week our students participated in the Grizzly Next Grade Meet-Up. All students got to meet the teachers of the next grade. Starting these connections early on helps build trust and supports our students into a smooth transition this Fall. Our students are excited to end the year strong and are already looking forward to next school year.
Thursday we welcomed our incoming Kindergarten students and we are so excited to see them all this Fall as they join our amazing Grizzly Family!
Thank you for your patience as we navigate the implications the weather presents, this week we made a decision to move Field Day to Thursday, May 8th, we are hopeful we will have better weather.
We have exciting things happening next week please see the dates below.
In Partnership,
Gabriela Zuno, Principal

Family Social Emotional Resource
Executive skills 101:
Planning/Prioritizing: Our ability to create a roadmap to complete an activity or reach a goal. This also includes the ability to decide what is and is not important to focus on.
Teaching this skill: Plan WITH your student, instead of FOR your student. Sit down together to plan a family activity or dinner.
BONUS SKILL:
Goal-directed persistence: Our ability to reach a goal and not get distracted by other ideas or interests
How to teach it: Have your student choose a goal that is important to them and make a plan for how to reach it.
