Athletics Updates
2020-2021 Summary: In what will be a ‘year’ of athletics that no one will ever forget, we managed to fit a year of sports into just over 4 months. River participated in all of our regular sports, and our athletes competed extremely hard all season. We want to thank all of our athletes and coaches for their hard work and dedication to each other. It made our year to get to see these athletes compete!
Here is a breakdown by the numbers of how we did:
League Champions: 9 teams finished as league champions!
District Finishes: 3 teams finished as district champions! (not all sports had a district championship this year)
Coach of the Year: 5 Coaches were named coach of the year!
Players of the Year 8 athletes were named player of the year!
All-League: As of 15 June, not all sports have completed their all-league selections.
35 athletes have been named 2nd team all league!
40 athletes have been named 1st team all league!
Are there colleges or trades you want to hear from next year?
