NBJH Weekly Update 5/24/24
Correction on Graduation Date

May 24, 2024
Principal's Message
Hi folks,
As we near the end of the school year and are about to bid farewell to our Class of 2024, it's an appropriate time to say thank you to our NBJH families for partnering with us to provide a high quality education to your children. The middle school years aren't without their challenges, and we know we still have areas in which we can get better, but we're definitely proud of the work we've done this year. One of our early goals was to provide a greater sense of belonging within our school community...a goal that will continue into the 2024-2025 school year.
A quick look back over the past eight months shows that we had much to celebrate. NBJH earned the National Blue Ribbon recognition for the first time in three decades; we had several successful assemblies; the 7th grade boys volleyball team won a conference championship; our Independent Science Research students crushed it at local, regional and state Science Fairs; and we had a return of the Talent Show for the first time in five years!
We look forward to next week's graduation party and ceremony. (I still can't believe this group is leaving us!) For our "underclassmen", we have one more week of classes, and iPads will be returned later in the week. Also, our AM and PM supervision is winding down. Today is the last day for our after school study hall. However, our AM study hall and after school fitness room will be open through next Friday, May 31.
Enjoy the long weekend. Happy Memorial Day to all of our families. We truly appreciate all of our service men and women!
Take care,
Scott
