BMS weekly bulletin

I hope you were able to spend time doing things that make you happy over vacation. This week is teacher appreciation week and I look forward to seeing all the different ways we can say thank you virtually to each other. My heart balloons when I think of everything you have done and continue to do to support our students and their families. BMS is a special place because of you.

I drove by school yesterday and our tulips are blooming, this made me smile.

In the next five weeks we are going to finish off our school year with many celebrations. We will be creating a virtual ASM for our 5th grade finale, checking off things on our end of year checklist, and finalizing our master schedule and other plans for next year.

• Please join me in congratulating Angela for getting a promotion with a full year position at CHS. She will be greatly missed at BMS, but will do amazing things at CHS.
• Bags are being delievered to our school tomorrow to store student's belonging in until we can hand them off. Once student's belonging are in the bag, please hang them on their hooks in the hallway.

• Our new candidates for 4th grade, school nurse, and social worker are going to the board tomorrow night for approval. I will be reaching out soon to see who is interested in joining our hiring committees for Administrative Assistant, our second permanent subsitute, Program assistant for SSR, and numerous instructional assistants.
