Principal's Message
Good Evening Yowell Families,
It has been a long time since you've heard my voice! I hope this extended break afforded you the opportunity to spend time with family and friends. Teachers were back in the building on Friday preparing for your return and the second half of the school year.
Students brought home winter break activity bags with a bingo board inside. If your child completed a bingo please return the red sheet to school with your child's name on it to be entered in a drawing for different local fun family activities.
Our amazing custodians have worked tirelessly over the snow days to prepare our school for your return. Curbside students, please be extra cautious when you exit your car if you get out along the curb. The water naturally runs along the curb for drainage and there could be refreeze where you step out.
Looking forward to next week, there will be no school on Monday, January 20th.
It will be so nice to have everyone back together again even if it is two hours later.

Transportation Information
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here. Also, this is the direct link to transportation.
Parents of students Pre-K through Grade 3 are expected to meet their children at the bus stop. Failure to do so will result in the child(ren) being returned to school. Should you choose to allow your child(ren) to be dropped off without supervision in the afternoon, please fill out and return this document.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
