Family Newsletter ~ May 9, 2025
Principal's Message:
Dear Wonderful OP Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful week! I want to first congratulate our 3rd graders for completing their M-STEP test - our students did a wonderful job of working hard and giving their very best to show how much they have learned! We are looking forward to seeing all of the amazing growth from all of our students as they take their NWEA and DRA tests in the coming weeks.
With the end of the year approaching, we have a couple of important opportunities for family input. First, we would greatly appreciate all of our families filling out the following survey - this less than 5 minute survey will give us valuable input of our school and programing.
Second, we are nearing the point of creating class lists for the 2025-2026 school year. See the attached “parent input form,” if you would like to share any insight about your child that will help our team as we work on class lists. Please note, this is not a teacher request form, so we will not be able to honor specific teacher requests on this form.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the final month of the school year!!
Mr. Bruno
Parent Pick-Ups
We must ask that students not enter our lots without a parent escort for safety reasons. When picking your child up, please park, exit your vehicle and wait outside the door your child exits. Thank you!

Positive Behavior at OP
We follow the RAD Raider Code. RAD stands for:
R - Ready to Learn
A - Always be Safe
D - Do the Right Thing
Students can earn RAD tickets by demonstrating expected behaviors, and these tickets are entered into a weekly drawing as recognition for positive behaviors. These students will also get to eat lunch with the principal at the end of the month.
