Weekly Spotlight
The art show was magnificent. It's always a treat to view the representation of art projects across our elementary schools. Thank you to Mrs. Goodman and Ms. Appel!
Check out 1AC below who bravely walked in the spring rain from DW to FEB!
It's raining tacos... The second graders were exuberant and the concert was a sweet culmination of their time at DW. Thank you to Mrs. Clarke, the second grade team, custodians and the clerical for all their hard work with concert preparations. Don't forget the video will be on LMCTV and our website.
Here is the concert photo folder courtesy of Mary Lanza.
Notes & Reminders
The Public Health Law and New York State Health Department regulations require that all public schools test lead levels in water from every outlet that is being used, or could potentially be used, for drinking or cooking. Rye Neck recently completed this testing at all school buildings in compliance with these regulations.
More information about the testing and results are included in this letter. If you would like to review the results or learn more about the testing process, all of the information is available on our website.
DW Peace Garden ~ Recess Program
We need your green (and not so green thumbs!) for recess in the garden. Come volunteer with a friend to host an activity in the Peace Garden over lunch for all interested students. You could care for the garden - weed and water it, or host a game, scavenger hunt, craft or yoga - let your imagination run wild!
Folks can contact Emily Durand with any question - emilypdurand@gmail.com or 551-221-5566
