Dear VAP Families,
Thank you to all the parents who joined us for K-5 Back to School Night last Wednesday! Your involvement truly makes a difference as we kick off another fantastic school year.
We have an exciting week ahead, filled with events for our students and families. First up is School Picture Day this Tuesday, September 24th. Please ensure your child wears their dress uniform and comes ready to shine—we can't wait to capture those wonderful smiles!
Then, join us on Friday, September 27th, for our annual Flag Raising Ceremony at 9 AM. All parents are warmly invited to celebrate this meaningful tradition with us. Later that day, from 2-4 PM, we’ll have Rita's Italian Ice on campus as a sweet way to end the first month of school. If your child is in K-2nd grade, they must be accompanied by a parent, while staff will assist our 3rd-8th graders. Please send your child with $5-$10 in cash if they’d like to enjoy some Italian Ice.
We're also excited to announce our first-ever Parent's Night Out at Temecula Old Town Loft this Friday night from 7-9 PM.It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax, connect with other parents, and enjoy an evening out. If you haven't already, please make sure to RSVP by this Wednesday.
As a friendly reminder, we will conduct our first fire drill of the year this week. Please take a moment to discuss safety drills with your child to help them feel prepared and confident.
Be sure to check the rest of the newsletter for more details on upcoming events and reminders. Thank you for your continued support in making this year memorable. We look forward to seeing everyone at these events!

Homework Club Pick Up Information
Reminder: Please try to refrain from picking up your child during Homework Club hours, as this time is dedicated to completing homework and catching up on assignments. If you need to pick up your child early, we can make exceptions, but this shouldn't become a regular occurrence.
Starting now, the office will no longer call students out of Homework Club from the office between 4:15 and 4:30 PM. Please go to Gate B to pick up your child during this time.
On Fridays, simply go directly to Gate B for pick-up during homework club hours, as it’s Fun Friday and students will be engaged in various activities throughout the school. Thank you for your understanding!
