Words from our Principal
I would like to wish all of our BVM families a safe and happy Thanksgiving! I am grateful for the opportunity to work with these students and see their smiling faces every day. I hope you all have a chance to rest and enjoy the company of loved ones during this break.
See you on the 26th!

School Highlights
Día de los Muertos comes to BVM
On Friday, November 2nd the Dual Language Program hosted a Día de los Muertos lunch celebration for the entire school. There were fun performances by our BVM Cheerleaders, Mariachi, Band and Flags Team. We also displayed a school wide ofrenda (altar) competition where students got to create a beautiful display for a loved one that has passed away. The winners of the altar competition received fun gift cards to places like Starbucks, Chic-fil-A, Jamba Juice and to NuYo Frozen Yogurt. It was truly an amazing experience for students and staff. A big thank you to the DLI parents, students and teachers! This event would not have been possible without all your support!

Digital Citizenship
Everyone wants to keep their kids safe and healthy. One area that may get overlooked is the safety of our kids on the internet. Sometimes we just assume kids know the right thing to do. The best way to keep our kids safe on the internet is to talk to them about it. There are a lot of great resources available to educate yourself on the subject and make it easier to speak to your kids about. A few are listed here to help you begin to help your child develop safe internet behaviors
