💭 Superintendent's Message
Dear Northfield School District Families:
Once again, thank you for your support this school year. I appreciate our partnership to prepare every student for lifelong success. Congratulations to the 315 Northfield High School alumni who were presented their diplomas at commencement last weekend!
While school is out for the summer, there are many great learning opportunities for students.
The Northfield Public Library is a great place to help keep developing students’ reading skills all of the time, but they have a great summer reading challenge. You can learn more here.
The district’s community education program has scores of fantastic activities for students in the summer. You can learn more here.
As always, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or feedback about the district.
Sincerely,
Matt

🎒Operation Backpack
The Operation Backpack Committee and Community Action Center (CAC) team up each year to ensure families who could use extra support are provided with the essential resources to start the school year. Registration will start July 11 and distribution will be held August 21. You can help by donating towards the bulk purchase of backpacks and supplies for more than 600 students registered in the Northfield School District this year. See the CAC website for more details to register and donate.
📓 Student Citizenship Handbook Focus Groups
The student citizenship handbook is the district's student discipline policy. We are seeking feedback from families about this policy and how it is implemented.
There are two focus group opportunities:
Monday, July 1: 4-5:30 pm
Monday, July 1: 6 pm-7:30 pm
Please register to be part of one of the two focus groups by clicking the button below. If we do not have at least five people register for a session, we may combine them. Additional information will be provided upon registration.
