Milroy Elementary News - November 22 , 2024
Notes From Mrs. Wilson
We had a great week! Congratulations to our girls basketball team on an undefeated season! Great job to our Cheer Club as they represented Milroy very well. Our Spell Bowl team took second place in our division and I'm so proud of their accomplishment! Our Title One Night was a huge success on Tuesday! Our staff really went above and beyond to make this a fun night for our students!
The weather is changing so please make sure your child brings a coat to school. We go outside if the temperature is 32 degrees or higher (depending on the wind chill as well). If your child needs a coat for the winter, please contact the school office.
If you haven't already done so, please take a minute and fill out the survey from the IDOE. This will help our school be recognized as a Family Friendly School for the 3rd year in a row!
"The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) Family Friendly Schools Designation is a
state recognition program for schools that excel in engaging families, communities, and
staff in their students’ education. The purpose of the program is to focus on addressing
the academic, physical, emotional, and social needs of students while providing
necessary resources and fostering the active involvement of families within the school
and community." Please help us to receive this recognition again this year by filling out this quick survey. https://www.jotform.com/241764351542960
