Volleyball
8th Grade A team Lady Bears unfortunately lost to Grand Lakes last night. I would like to give a shout out to Makayla Middleton and Gracie Sheffield for some pretty amazing digs on the back row. They sure did give it their all! I would also like to recognize Emma Scoggin for always being a positive light on and off the court! Although we didn’t come out with the win, I know the girls will come back ready to fight after fall break! Go Lady Bears!
8th Grade B team fought hard and secured a win against the Lady Tigers from Grand Lakes. With an all-around great team effort, the Lady Bears have now brought their record to an impressive 5-1. Coach Bendele-Williams and Arces are extremely proud of the team's performance and encourage them to keep up the awesome work. Congratulations, girls!
The 7th grade B volleyball team started off strong in last night's game against Grand Lakes winning the first set 25-9, but unfortunately they came up short in the 2nd and 3rd games with final scores of 20-25 and 14-16. Outstanding serve game from Ryanne Saldana going 16 for 17 and Emma Bettanazzi going 8 for 9. Shoutout to Violet Browne for coming in as a clutch player in the 3rd set with several great plays! The lady bears will be back to work after Fall Break and looking for a big win against Schultz!
