Message from Mrs. Hernandez

We made it through the first month! Hope every enjoys an extended weekend as there is NO SCHOOL on Monday September 2nd and Tuesday September 3rd. I know I am going to enjoy the return of some College Football!!!

Progress Reports

Grades are due for our first progress report tomorrow and will be available to view on HAC September 3rd at 5:00 pm. Paper copies of progress reports or reports do not go home with students. It will always be available in HAC. If you are having issue logging in please contact Paula Lough at plough@mckinneyisd.net.

Counselor Needs Survey

On September 10 and September 11, our counselors will administer a survey to students during their science classes to better understand the needs and support required by our students. You can view the survey questions through this Link to Survey Questions.

If you prefer that your student not participate in the survey, please contact their counselor by Thursday, September 5. For students with last names A-K, you can reach Mrs. Delisle at cdelisle@mckinneyisd.net. For students with last names L-Z, please contact Mrs. Spears at pspear@mckinneyisd.net.

Reminders:

A valid physical government ID is needed to come inside the building. Photos of the ID are not permitted.

Campus Hours: 8:15 AM - 4:15 PM

Please note that visitors will not be allowed on campus before 8:15 AM. If you require assistance before this time, please schedule an appointment in advance.

Carpool Arrival: Students should not be dropped off before 8:15 AM, as there will be no supervision available prior to this time.

Early Pickup: Students cannot be checked out after 3:15 PM.

Dress Code

Please ensure that your student is following the MISD Student Dress Code daily. If a student comes to school in something that does not meet the MISD dress code, a change of clothing will be needed.

Here are a few friendly reminders of things to consider for your Panther. Full Student Dress Code linked below.

Student ID badges are required on all secondary campuses. (Starting September 9th)
Skirts, dresses and shorts must extend below the undergarment area at all times whether in standing or sitting position; no biking shorts, cutoffs, or boxer shorts. If tights, leggings, or other form-fitting pants are worn, the buttocks and pelvic region must be covered at all times by a dress, shirt, skirt, or shorts.
Spaghetti straps, tube tops, exposed midriff or cleavage, halter-type blouses, mesh/see through shirts, tank tops, muscle shirts, basketball jerseys must be worn with an appropriate garment, (i.e. T-shirt)
