Welcome Back Eagle Families
Rising to New Heights! 2024-25
Greetings PME Families!
It is an honor to serve the wonderful community of Presidential Meadows Elementary. Our theme this year is "Rising to New Heights". To ensure we soar high, my focus and passion is student growth and achievement. We will be working to build teacher capacity that results in increased student achievement. In addition, we will be collaborating with our families to equip them in supporting students' learning throughout the school year. As the PME community engages in productive collaboration this process will assist us in meeting our goal to be the best school in Manor ISD. I believe our PME team can do anything with hardwork and dedication.
Rising to New Height!
Warm regards,
Dr. Tamica Allen
The Proud Principal of PME!

Building Resilience: Regular attendance teaches your child the value of perseverance and responsibility—essential skills for success in life.
Stronger Friendships: Daily presence helps your child develop and sustain friendships, which are crucial for emotional and social development.

Meet Dr. Allen, Principal
It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the newly appointed principal of Presidential Meadows Elementary School. It is truly an honor to join such a vibrant community of hardworking students, dedicated staff, and supportive families.
With 18 years of experience in education, including 9 years as a campus administrator and 3 years as a district behavior specialist, I bring a deep commitment to fostering academic excellence and nurturing the social-emotional well-being of every student. My journey in education began as a reading specialist and classroom teacher, where I developed a passion for empowering students to achieve their fullest potential.
I am eager to collaborate with each of you in building a school culture that prioritizes the success and holistic development of our students. Your insights, aspirations, and dreams for our school are invaluable as we shape the future together. I am dedicated to creating a shared vision that reflects our collective values and goals for Presidential Meadows Elementary School.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I look forward to meeting and connecting with all members of our community. My door is always open, and I encourage you to reach out to discuss any thoughts, concerns, or ideas you may have. Your input is crucial in ensuring that we continue to provide an enriching and supportive educational environment.
Thank you for your warm welcome thus far. Together, we will inspire and empower our students to excel academically, socially, and personally.

Meet Dr. Baum, Assistant Principal
I am excited to be the Assistant Principal at PME. I have a passion for fostering academic excellence and nurturing student growth to support PME reaching new heights. I have a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University and bring 28 years of experience in education. Prior to joining PME, I played a pivotal role in the successful opening of two new schools, where I led efforts in school safety, teacher training, and establishing a positive school culture from the ground up.
In my previous roles, I was instrumental in creating and implementing innovative teaching strategies and professional development programs, which significantly improved instructional quality and student outcomes. These experiences equipped me with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in launching and sustaining educational excellence in new learning environments.
I have been recognized for my dedication to education as a teacher by receiving the STAT Science Teacher of the Year Award and as a Finalist for the Presidential Award for math and science teaching. As administrator, I was named the Region 4 Assistant Principal of the Year and the STAT Administrator of the Year Award.
At PME, I am focused on supporting teachers through innovative instructional approach, data-driven instruction, and collaborative learning initiatives. I am dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to high-quality education and the resources needed to thrive academically and personally. Along with Dr. Allen, I am dedicated to leading PME to new heights. Every Eagle, every day.
Outside of work, I enjoy scrapbooking, quilting, cooking, and traveling. I also value spending quality time with my family, including my husband, Daniel and our four children Jacob, Kaitlyn, Madeline, and Asher.
I am excited to contribute to the success of PME and support the growth and development of every student and staff member every day leading PME to new heights.

Meet Mrs. Reese, Counselor
my name is Mrs. Crystal Reese and I am the proud school counselor here at PME. Although I am new to PME, I have served the Manor ISD Community since 2019, this is my 7th year as a school counselor and my 17th year in education. I am also incredibly excited to introduce to you another new staff member that will be joining PME, Benito Jesus, a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel. Benito is a Canine Good Citizen Dog and a Certified Therapy Dog through the Texas State University Animal Assisted Counseling Program. Together, Benito and I have completed an intensive and thorough program to ensure safety and success for all. I look forward to serving the scholars and families here at PME and if I can be of any assistance to your scholar or your family please do not hesitate to contact me.
We'd L💙ve to hear from you!
Parents of children in Title I programs should have a say in how these programs are planned and run. Schools should also talk to parents about their children's progress and how they can support their learning at home. When parents and family members are involved in their children's education, children are more likely to succeed.
By providing your feedback below👇 it will help us improve our efforts in providing better family engagement opportunities.
Keeping you informed and safe!
Manor ISD wants to ensure the safety of our community, one way of doing so is keeping you informed. Due to weather changing there has been an increase in snake sightings in the city of Manor. We make it our goal to have systems in place to better prepare us for these kinds of situations. Such as:
Keeping campus grounds mowed/manicured and free of debris
We have IPM handling rodent issues on all campuses (snakes search for rodents and therefore are at all campuses)
If we have an area with frequent snake activity, those areas are monitored regularly - before staff/scholars arrive on campus.
We communicate with campuses if there are snake sightings to figure out if there is anything we need to do as far as clearing out debris and maintaining grounds.
Families the best way to be prepared is be aware, know what you are looking for. We provided examples of what to look for. Inspect and monitor, if there is a snake sighting please contact dispatch at 512 278-4398. If any contact and or injuries resulted from an encounter, call 911.
