States of Matter: Pancakes 🥞 YES! 🙌🏽 Please!
Ever wonder how a liquid batter transforms into a fluffy, golden pancake? Let's explore the delicious science happening on your griddle!
When you pour that smooth batter (liquid state), the heat triggers an amazing transformation. The proteins denature, bubbles form from the baking powder, and moisture starts to evaporate. Before you know it, you've got a perfectly cooked, structured pancake (solid state) with tiny air pockets trapped inside! And that steam rising off your stack? That's water in its gas state!
Three states of matter, one delicious breakfast. Who said physics can't be tasty? 😋
Time to experiment with breakfast! Who's hungry for some science?
