Daily Prayer
“Sacrifice, thank offerings to God, fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.” Psalm 50:14–15, NIV
This is a psalm that spoke to me because it reminded me that in your hardest times you should always call on God and he will help you. Regardless of the situation, he will always be there for you. Put your trust in him and he will deliver.
-Genova Sanchez
“O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch”
Psalm 5:3 ESV
This is a verse that I really looked up to, because whenever you need help or anything, God will always find a way to answer your prayer every single day. People are willing to sacrifice their life’s every single day, so god could see how hard you're working for god.

Anti- Bullying Week
For this topic we decided to interview Sheriff Parker and this is what she had to say about this topic
How do you plan to stop bullying?
Implement programs in schools and communities to educate people about the effects of bullying and how to recognize it. This includes teaching empathy, respect, and kindness.
How can we stop more bullying?
Create inclusive and welcoming environments in schools, workplaces, and communities where diversity is celebrated and everyone feels valued.
How do you plan on stopping drugs in the school?
Implement comprehensive drug education programs that provide accurate, up-to-date information about the risks and consequences of drug use. This can include classroom lessons, workshops, and guest speakers
What steps do you need to take when seeing someone do drugs on a school campus?
Ensure your own safety first. Do not confront the person using drugs directly, as this could escalate the situation.
Report to Authorities: Immediately report the incident to a teacher, school administrator, or campus security. Provide as much detail as possible, including the location and description of the individuals involved.
Follow School Protocol: Adhere to your school’s specific policies and procedures for reporting drug use. Schools often have established protocols to handle such situations effectively.
Avoid Spreading Rumors: Keep the information confidential and avoid discussing it with other students. Spreading rumors can lead to misinformation and further complications.
Support Services: If you know the person involved, encourage them to seek help from school counselors or support services. Many schools offer resources for students struggling with substance abuse.

Faculty Member of the Month
For the month of November, Deputy Parker was selected as the Faculty Member of the Month. She was selected because of the continuous love and support that she has shown to the school. During the last two weeks of October, it was Drug Free Week and Anti-Bullying Week. She went above and beyond to educate students about the harm of drugs and bullying. She also gave out prizes everyday to students who were randomly selected that day. This displays how much she dedicates her time to make the students happy. To learn more about Deputy Parker we asked her a couple questions:
What do you love most about your job? “I am so happy to be working in a school where I am able to see the growth of my students. It brings me great joy to see how they grow up into wonderful well rounded individuals, who can go out into the world and make a difference.”
What motivates you to come to work everyday? “Because I truly love my job, I have a sense of purpose that ultimately gives me a sense of personal fulfillment to make an impact.”
What made you choose this career? “I really wanted to make a positive impact on others and prove that all law enforcement officers are not the same. That there really are some good decent law enforcement officers out here in the world who want to build relationships and value the work that is needed for the communities.”
As a role model to many students here, who do you look up to? “This is a question that reveals itself as a diverse range of people that I look to and admire for their many character traits like kindness, honesty, and resilience and how funny and genuine they are in life. People I admire a lot of people like: Stockard Channing, Michael Jordan, My Father Lt. Col Jerald Parker, My Wife Peggy Moats, My Daughter Samantha, Pat Summit, Nelson Mandela, Judy Blume, Betty White, Leonardo da Vincic, Pink, Sally Ride, Tina Tuner, Abraham Lincoln, Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Eleanor Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Joan of Arc, Anne Frank, Martin Luther King Jr, Maya Angelou, Mother Teresa, Pope Francis, and all of my students.”
“This is such an honor. Thank you for even considering me, it humbles me to think you thought of me for this recognition.”
