Message from Mrs. Tremps
Dear Brandywine Families,
I am thrilled to report that we’ve had a fantastic start to the school year! With 41 homerooms and approximately 960 students, our school community is bustling with energy and excitement.
Our operations are running smoothly, from the carline to the hallways and cafeteria. Students are quickly learning routines and procedures, and it’s been wonderful to see them practicing our core values by being Difference Makers. They are embracing the Three Bes: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.
Thank you for your continued patience with bus routes. The transportation department is working diligently to train drivers and ensure that every student arrives at school and home safely.
I’m also excited to share that, starting after Labor Day, families will have the opportunity to sign up and join their student for lunch. We have space to accommodate up to two adults per student, and we can’t wait to see you!
Next Steps for Parents:
- Sign Up for Lunch Visits: If you’d like to join your student for lunch, please sign up at www.forsyth.k12.ga.us/brandywine Remember, we can accommodate up to two adults per student.
- Stay Informed: Keep an eye on school communications for updates on events, activities, and any important information. Make sure your contact information is up to date.
- Review Routines with Your Child: Help reinforce the routines and procedures they’re learning at school. Discuss the importance of the Three Bes: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.
- Transportation Updates: Continue to be patient with bus routes as our transportation department works to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all students.
- Get Involved: Look for opportunities to volunteer or participate in school events. Your involvement makes a big difference!

Counselor's Corner
Hey Badgers! We have loved getting to know your students this past month. We have been active in the hallways and in the classrooms and have seen so many great things. If you’re new to our Brandywine family and don’t know exactly what our role is, no worries. We do a plethora of things here at school. Ultimately, it is our job to develop an appropriate, comprehensive school counseling program for students. In developing this program, we address multiple different topics involving academics and future careers, social and emotional health, and personal safety. Essentially, we cover all things about wellness. Your student can see us for a variety of reasons like having troubles with friends, loss of a family member, struggles in the classroom, etc. We work with students through our classroom lessons, small groups, and one-on-one sessions. Our mission is to provide all students with the opportunity to acquire the competencies necessary to achieve quality learning and life-long success.
We are so excited to announce that we are continuing our Coffee & Conversations this school year. Our first session is Thursday, September 19th from 9:00-10:00am. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon! If you have any questions or concerns about your student, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are happy to help😊
