Scholastic Book Fair - April 1-5
Dear Families:
Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way. Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers, and...as always... every purchase at the Fair benefits our school.
The Clifford Marshall Book Fair will run from Monday, April 1st to Friday, April 5th. Kids will attend the Book Fair during the Media Center Specialist class and the Fair will be available for Parents to make purchases during Parent/Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, April 3rd.
Say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet, your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Book Fair online. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Every online purchase will also benefit our school.
Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:

Chronic Absenteeism
As part of the Massachusetts's Department of Education and Quincy Public School's initiative to improve overall student attendance, Quincy Public Schools is creating Accelerated Academy programs. Students meeting absenteeism criteria will be invited to participate in a district-based or school-based program. These programs aim to help students re-engage in the learning process and make up for previously missed school days.
Two different opportunities will be shared with students that meet the criteria:
1. April Vacation Accelerated Academy at Beechwood Knoll, Students in Gr 3-5
2. Wednesday Accelerated Academy at Clifford Marshall, Students in Gr 1-4
*Invites will be sent home and emailed on April 3rd
If you have received either or both of these invitations and have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Heather Patch heatherpatch@quincypublicschools.com or Justine Sullivan justinesullivan@quincypublicschools.com
