About The Mandingo People
The Mandingo people speak in the Mandinkan language. Their main religion is Islam. Islamic people believe in Allah. They also believe that Muhammad is the prophet. A common dish that they eat is corn porridge, eaten with a gourd.
About the Mandingo People
Today, there are over 470,204 Mandinkan people. Most of the Mandinkan people live in rural areas throughout Sierra Leone. They still wear traditional clothing. Two specific rituals that make them unique is that they sacrifice chickens to the "village spirits"and they have village mosques.
