ACCESS FOR ELLS
Dear Parent or Guardian,
Each year, students in English learner programs take the ACCESS for ELLs language proficiency test. The test measures academic English language proficiency for students learning English in our school and throughout our state. We will be taking the test here at CHS February 11th and 12th.
Teachers in our school use this information to help them make decisions about instruction for your child. Teachers also use these test scores to monitor the progress your child makes toward English proficiency.
Please contact Mrs. Duft ELL teacher if you have questions about the ACCESS for ELLs test.

SENIOR PRANKS
While students may find the idea of a senior prank humorous, the school and the ASD are left responsible for the damage. Senior pranks are not acceptable, are not considered a rite of passage and will not be tolerated. Seniors who participate in senior pranks will risk not participating in graduation. Make good choices, Mustangs.

- 5th tardy: 1 lunch detention
- 9th tardy: 2 lunch detentions and Attendance Contract (signed by parents)
- 12th tardy: Extended Day Detention - Thursday 3:15-5:15 (parent notification)
- 15th tardy: Referral to Student Services Team and Parent Meeting
- 16th tardy: Referral to Administrator and Parent Meeting to determine additional sanctions.
