Check out this goal by Keahi Davis last week against Foothill in the CHS Varsity Girls Soccer 1-0 win! ♥️🐾⚽️This was only the second goal Foothill had scored against them all season. JV girls lost to Foothill but Julia Garib scored a PK for Chico High. CHS Boys Soccer also played Foothill last week. JV Boys won 5-0 with 4 goals from Javier Saenz Cabanas and 1 from Keegan Peck

Varsity Boys won 4-1 with goals from Ale Gonzalez, Anthony Montes, Jose Avala, Leo Zavala

CHS boys won 69-11 and girls won 58-18.

Victories for Chico High include Gabe Rodriguez (287), Ryker James (192), Jack Dalling (177), Colby Thompson (162), Talan Acain (159), Connor Miller (152), Johny Navarrete (140), Jeovany Navarret (134), Bryer Williams (128) and Tej Sidhu (122). Chico’s Liam Reddam won by forfeit at 115 pounds.

For the girls, Senior Aliyhana Hernandez got her 92nd win for CHS. Other winners were - Marley Wongraat (102), Tayleigh Williams (132), Abby See (137), Akiva Barry (142), Samone Sandoval (147), Nereyda Bill (157), Sifiah Francis (172), Mia Garcia (192) and Briana Reid (235).

Nigel is our fantastic saxophone section leader! For concert season and marching season Nigel plays the alto saxophone and baritone saxophone! He has played the alto saxophone for 7 years and the baritone saxophone for only one (You could never tell)! He is also active in our jazz band which he currently plays the baritone saxophone in! 🎷

Outside of band, Nigel is a very dedicated runner and is a prominent member of both Chico High Cross Country and distance track! Nigel has helped his team win sections for Cross Country! 🥇

In his free time Nigel enjoys playing and watching basketball! He also likes to solve puzzles! 🏀

After Nigel graduates, he is going to spend his summer working as a woodland firefighter! After that, Nigel hopes to go to Long Beach State for aerospace engineering! 🚒
