This month our student council has planned some great opportunities to show school spirit and support our community. Student Council is sponsoring a Halloween lock-in event for LMS students in grades 6th-8th (only) on Thursday, October 28th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. LMS will permit all staff and students the opportunity to dress up for Halloween on Friday, October 29th. A few restrictions for costumes include: no masks, no makeup, no weapons, or blow up costumes.

Technology Reminders

Now that LCS has a 1:1 initiative every student has a Chromebook to enhance their learning opportunities. With this privilege comes responsibility. All students signed the Acceptable Use Policy in the student handbook. This device is not for personal use but for school purposes. Please remind your child not to use this device for personal use such as playing games, watching movies, YouTube, emailing other students or use virtual meeting applications with friends. This tool is for communicating with teachers, getting on Google Classroom, G Suite learning applications and completing assignments.
