To those who attended any of the Core Wars events this week, we'd like to thank you on behalf of Camp Kesem UGA and the kids and families we serve. From canning and online fundraising alone, we raised an impressive $2,204.35 in just one week! Just think of the incredible impact we can make on the community if we keep up the hard work!
To Yellow Core (pictured below in their gold medals), congratulations! You are the Core Wars 2016 champions and will be awarded justly at your next core meeting. Make sure you don't miss it!
To the rest of our general body, thank you so much for your interest in our cause. If you aren't in a Color Core, but you'd like to do more to help children who have been affected by the darkness of a parent's cancer, send us an email to uga.volunteer@campkesem.org and we will connect you with a group of passionate student leaders like you!
Also, don't forget to sign in and say you're with Camp Kesem at the homecoming events this week! Doing so will earn points for our organization. Homecoming is a great opportunity to bring Camp to campus, so be sure to come out and support us in each event. If you choose to attend these events, (with the exclusion of the concert and parade), you are earning Counselor Points! These points are key if you are planning on applying to be a counselor this summer.
