Welcome Back, Bulldogs!
My name is Michael Hobbs. I am honored to be the principal at Bonham Middle School! This will be my seventh year at BMS and TISD. I hope you are having a wonderful summer. We are so excited to get this year started. We made tremendous growth in all areas of our goals last year: academic growth, parent and community involvement, and continuing a positive leadership culture. We plan on continuing improving on those goals this year by refining our classroom habits, creating more parent involvement opportunities and continuing to build student ownership. Please take a minute to look over my newsletter for all the things going on at BMS in August.
Construction has started at BMS. We are currently at the beginning phase of our renovation. We are starting with the expansion of our front parking lot. This should not impact car-rider arrival or dismissal procedure. It will impact bus dismissal slightly. Parents should not be using the west parking lot (by the football field) for drop off or pick up. We will have more information as we get closer to school starting.
Bulldog Camp and 7th/8th grade schedule pickup on August 15th will be a wonderful time to meet new students and greet all current Bulldogs. See you then!
