GMS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER DECEMBER 6, 2024
Good Afternoon Wolf Pack Families,
I wanted to update you on an important decision made at last night’s Board of Education meeting. The Board voted to repurpose Geisler MS as part of the District’s Facility Utilization Study. This decision was brought to the forefront by the community’s resounding support for the 2024 Bond, which included plans to repurpose one of our four middle schools to better serve the evolving needs of our students and families.
Next steps in the process will be identified in the coming weeks, including discussions on how we can honor and preserve the rich history of our building as we prepare to wrap up its final school year as a middle school. We are committed to supporting our school community through this transition and ensuring this milestone is marked with respect and care.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we move forward together. Our focus remains on providing the best possible experience for every child, every day.
There is a lot of important information to share below this week. Please take some time this weekend to review. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
